As a child, memorized by her grandmother's art of storytelling and as a teen, captivated by the stand-up comedians that she watched across that old counsel TV, Jamie knew that it was all that she wanted to do. Distracted by formal education and the pursuit of a "real job", she set her actual dreams aside. The journey may have been delayed, but she is finally on her way to something great.

Jamie Travale has performed at various open mics and showcases across the Buffalo & Rochester, NY area to include regular appearances in the Doin' Time Comedy Showcase at Nietzsche's where she got her start. Additionally, she has performed with the Rouges of Radio Comedy Tour and has been a guest on The Patrick Higgins Show on wbny 91.3fm. In the fall of 2009 she co-emceed a fundraiser for the Connecticut Street City Kitty rescue group and is set to perform with Lö Braû Comedie this summer. She is also the host of the monthly Comedy Open Mic Night at Page's Paradise Island.
